Man, we loved this wedding.  It literally had it all.  From the beautiful church location to the epic reception at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. As if that wasn’t enough, Mika and Emily were surrounded by their friends and family at the reception, and there, they were treated to some very emotional speeches given by those that know and love them the most. 

As we were sitting there filming all of the speeches, we looked around the room multiple times and noticed there were very few dry eyes in the room.  It’s such a great testament to their relationship and the love they have for each other when you hear so many people getting up and telling story after story about them and their relationship. It was really amazing and I’m so glad we were there to capture them so we could feature some of those speeches in their highlights film.

Emily and Mika were such a special couple and we had so much fun hanging out with them and their friends and family all day. From the time we arrived to film their prep until the time we left, we didn’t stop smiling… and as you can see in the highlights film, we weren’t the only ones!

We were so excited when Sam and Dana asked us to be a part of their wedding celebration at the Citadel in Charleston.  We always have an amazing time when we visit Charleston and film at the Citadel and we knew their wedding wouldn’t disappoint. 

When we arrived in town, we joined Dana and her bridesmaids at Lordis Salon and Spa in downtown Charleston to capture some footage of them getting ready. We had a great time laughing and enjoying the day with them before heading over to the beach house where Sam was getting ready.  After scoping out the beach house, we found an amazing place for Sam to get ready.  The beach house had a third story ocean view porch that made the perfect backdrop for him to get dressed.  Easily some of our favorite footage from the day.  

When the time came for the ceremony, it was absolutely gorgeous inside the Citadel chapel.  Sam and Dana said their vows in front of their friends and family before making their exit and heading over to the Holliday Alumni Center on the Citadel campus.  It was an amazing night as Sam and Dana celebrated their new marriage with all of their friends and family.
