As filmmakers, the thing we love most about filming weddings is the fact that every story is different.  We don’t go in with a script and as shot list like traditional films.  Instead, we watch the day unfold and create a story from a blank canvas.  We let the bride, the groom, their friends and their family put paint on the canvas and then we weave it all together into a portrait that tells the story of the couple and their day.

Sometimes, you get handed a true gem during the day, something that really stands out in your mind and you’re thinking to yourself the whole time “This is AWESOME!” For us, that moment happened during Travis and Natasha’s reception.  Everyone gave incredible speeches and told amazing stories, which made it difficult for us to narrow down exactly which ones to include in their highlights film, but in the end, we chose to use the ones that best told the story of the day.

We are really proud of the way this one turned out…. The story we were able to tell.  It’s a true testament to the love these two have for each other that their friends and family got so emotional while talking about them and their lives together.  It was definitely a wedding we will remember for quite some time.
